Ginta Leikarte has graduated from University of Latvia in 1997 and has got master degree of philology. Her graduate work was written about the main principles of the lexical minimum dictionary forming and it’s using possibilities in the process of learning Latvian.

Ginta Leikarte has been working as a Latvian teacher in such companies as "Nordisk Ministerrads Informationskontor" (Information office of Nordic Council of Ministers - for five years, with approximately 80 students), Embassy of Netherlands, Arthur Andersen, The Baltic Times, Statoil Latvia, Electrolux Latvia, Embassy of Sweden, Hotel Valdemars, SEB Bank, GE Money bank, etc.
