Hi, i'm Marion. I'm looking for japanese friends to have a penpal activity and talking about our hobbies. I speak english almost fluently, but I don't speak japanese, though I can "read" it ( well, reading is not the good word, i just can guess what is written on a poster, for example.. I know approximatively a hundred of kanjis, that's very poor but i started learning japanese only 2 months ago and i still go to school so it's hard to manage my time, i cannot always be reading my japanese manual cause i have much school work to do. Nevertheless, my "real" japanese lessons will start in January 2010). I'm french and i love my language and it would be a pleasure to learn it to you if you're interested in it, even if i am there to find someone to give me japanese lessons first.
I like Japan but not because it's a very modern country. I don't like a country for its technologies and big cities. I like a country for its culture, its past, the philosophy of the people and the traditions. I think japanese traditions are very interesting. But I also like movies and food from Japan ;). I used to read mangas when i was younger, I like this very much but i'm not CRAZY about that. I love old school video games ( it doesn't mean that i'm a nerd !), japanese cinema ( Takashi Miike and Shinya Tsukamoto)... I also like Ryu Murakami's books ( and also his movie, Topazu ) and some japanese bands like The Mops ( in the 60s ) and 9mm Parabelim Bullet.
About myself, i'm quite kind ( i hope ) and i like to laugh, but i can talk about serious things because i think i'm mature enough to share an interresting talk. I like arts and culture. I know much about 60s ans 80s culture (music, movies, art... ). I'm interested by the evolution of the society though i don't really like the world we're actually living in! Well i don't want to talk about politic now, i think i said enough about me but if you want to know more just ask me my msn adress. I also have a facebook account but i don't accept anybody.
