Tom.... the noun "tan" could be translated into spanish as "bronceado" and the verb "to tan" as "broncear". However, we hardly ever say "voy a broncearme" instead of using that we use "voy a tomar sol", which is more related to "to sunbathe". hope this hepls!

(tan) indica " mucho , bastante" en español ;con la piel si estabas tomando el sol puedes decir : oh estas
( tan bronceado )que es igual ah estas( bastante bronceado...) o ( muy broceado)
ejemplo eres (tan blanco/a ), eres (bastante blanco/a), eres ( muy blanco/a)
