To start a great language exchange and learning experience here at italki, you can start with completing your personal profile. The personal profile is your first impression to other italki members. So a complete profile with a real photo will tell others more about you.

After that, you can start the search for language partners. Go to Find a Language Partner. Refine your search criteria and then start the search. Check on the member's profile and if you want them to be your language partners, send them one invitation. After they accept your invitation, you can either send them emails, chat online using Chat Now, MSN or skype.

For self study, there are a lot of useful learning materials in Files and Resources. By search the keywords of English, oral, speaking or writing, you will find the relative files and resources.
