I agry with you! Italki is COOOOOOOOOOL!!!!!!!

Italki is great because it allows me to connect with people all over the world, make friends and learn languages for FREE. There are similar websites which charge money for the service and are not actually as good. Go italki!

It's okay I guess, although its usefulness largely depends on the community. Lately there are more and more people who are mere one-day-flies or have different agendas. Just like in the old days there was no spamming but nowadays there are quite some scammers and spammers. I suppose it's part of a process and the moderators will have to adjust to new standards. I think they'll get it right in the end though.

I agree with Harregarre, some guy tried to get m to buy his perfumes!!! Others use it just as a dating service!

i am trying to see the other side..yes of course i agree with Harregarre and Jura , seeking for a good discussion is not that easy with the infinite dating announcements..but i think if italki provide a clear space for discussions, so that if an announcement is classified as less interesting " " it should be moved to another section...i guess

italki has been a tremendous help to me in my quest to learn chinese. in six months time, no joke, i went from only saying basic survival sentences to comfortably conversational, and quite well at that. i've been studying mandarin chinese (self study) for about a year before i bumped into italk, and man, i am grateful i did. i've learned more at my time here at italki than that entire year before it.

i am new here, ya i did know some new friend, i am very glad to see friend around the world who share the same interest with me.

i knew a Netherlands Chinese who was born in the same day with me,a France girl who has the same name with me , a Canada Chinese who like the same singer, beyond and Leslie Cheung from hong kong.and also some Chinese who share the same thoughts and interest, hehe.....

i felt shocked when i knew the white man who like our Chinese singer jay chow and sammi cheung ,hehe.it's pretty cool.

ya some people are just looking for a date,but we still can make our choice to reject it . i know it is very annoy. i meet some people who send me the first mail to say he love me and want to marry me .suck...come on.....crazy man...

i just hope to make new friendship and improve my english from italki.
