plz answer me a simple question of "whom"and"who"

first question, is the title a correct sentence?
if I use "about" instead of "of" in title, is it strange?

second question, I heard that nobody use "whom" nowdays, is that true?
if yes, here,(I met a old friend with *whom I used to study together)
do u use *who" in that sentence insted of "whom"?

As you said, who is used in daily language. On the other hand,we meet "whom" in formal usage.I want to give an example to show the difference between these two.
The costumer was very rich. She came yesterday. When we combine these two sentences,
The costumer who came yesterday was very rich. Here, SHE....>WHO
The second example:
The woman was Mrs.Kelly .I saw her. The woman whom I saw was Mrs.Kelly .Here Her.....>Whom
It gives meaning of "her".

In proper english both "who" and "whom" have a proper place and usage.
whom always has a preposition before it. Exampple 1) to whom i gave 2) of whom I spoke 3) regarding whom I mentioned etc etc. It is a personal object pronoun. Verbs (action) is done to "it"
who is used alone like for example 1) who gave me 2) who spoke etc. It is a subject pronoun. It is doing the verb. (action)
