yes, I believe in God. He helped me went through hardship during my university time. I had been forgetting him but he never abandon me. When I want to go back to him recently, he did send some close friends to comfort me. They are the angel from God.

No, I have no evidence whatsoever to believe that there is a God so I won't believe there is a God. Therefore I'm agnostic/atheistic. It would be foolish to believe there is a God when you don't have any evidence backing it up. I don't consider a book evidence. There are many books about Greek and Roman gods as well and we don't believe in them either. The same thing goes for Qurans, Bibles and all kinds of books similar to those two.

Not everything in real life needs to be tangible and experienced physically. Responding to this question has proved that humans can reach for each other without meeting personally. The Almighty Father's power has been felt all through humanity since the beginning of time. Only people who have been blinded with pride would dare to speak of not knowing the Omnipotent. Such minds have lived vicariously.

Whatever we call this Hidden power who gave us life ,he is God ! why we cannot see him ? because he is greater that we can sense , if god was a Sun can we approach or see him ? no ! what about the fact that he created all thus universe ?
any one who doesn't believe the holy books can check on them , the anciant holy books were modified by some men , only the Quran stood genuine , and any one who has any doubt ask me and i'll explain ny scientific proofs , i cannot say all what i know in 2 words .
finally , i believe that all of us are smart enough to understand the truth and be convinced if he put his Ego beside .

Man accept it , we haven't the same belief ! I attacked the way you try to force us to be convinced by your ideas . if you want to convince us , it's by proofs and good manner .
I respect your choices and beliefs , and i expect the same from your side. I really appreciate your way of thinkin' ( especially your english skills ) , but sometimes you try to make of others fools ,and sometimes unfair judgements, this is the only thing that ennoys me .
But be sure of something , there is nothing of personal in this . we are all here to discuss, learn and argue about different issues , and discover the others opinions and beliefs .

However, you must realize that you might feel that I'm trying to make others look like fools, but that I feel the same way when others talk about me. Every day I come here to check questions to see if I can help anyone. And every time I see questions that just assume that there is a God. You probably won't understand how that feels, unless I start making questions about how God doesn't exist every day. Do I do that? No. But at least I'll try to give an atheist response to all those questions. Surely, there may be 10 answers with most of them written from a religious perspective but at least I'm able to get two atheist responses in.

Besides, it doesn't really surprise me that people give me -1. I mean, why would they? They disagree with me because I have a different view of the world. However, it's funny that they give -1 AND preach tolerance and open-minded views in other places. It's like when some marketeer asks you to give your opinion of a new product, but they just kick you away when you have a negative opinion.

secondo , if someone believes of god's existence , it's his choice . so why do u feel like a fool ?
No one insulted you if he believes that . be sure if someone will insulte you because of your belief i'll defend your view point , but when u sometimes say bad stuff or judgements about god and prophets it's normaly to receive such answers , all what they try is the defend their beliefs and argue .

Dude for me,P you are better than lot Of other believers. why? because most of the people who believe in God are doing blind belief , they believe only because his father is a believer or the sociaty believes in this religion or to get social privileges . But an atheist, on the other hand, even though he may belong to a religious family, uses his intellect to deny the existence of God . what ever concept or qualities of God he may have learnt in his religion may not seem to be logical to him.

G-d? yes i do believe. i dont need a book to prove it. even if the Bible,Quran, ect never existed i would know there is one. how? becaue all i have to do is look around at nature and see that there is a G-d. how did i get here? how did my parents get here? and so on.... blind belief? nope i have a mind and i chose to believe what i believe in because i cant help but to believe. some famous believers were Sir Isaac Newton, Sir Francis Bacon, Dalton, John Greenleaf Wittier, and Albert Einstein who said, " Science without religion is lame." so how can the "fathers" of science be argued with? as for charles darwin he even confessed on his death that it was all a fake. and the origins of evolution was from a lawer not a scientist hahhahaha. you dont have any missing links and you dont have anyone evolving now and you never will and as for how old the earth is you get your information from the rocks and the age of the rocks from the dinosaurs and the age of the dinos from the rocks. so you are all in a big mess of confusion. i am very tolerant but also well informed so dont think i hate you or that i am evil. i just think that you are very funny! to believe in something that contridicts its self. hahahhah the bible does not do this despite what you think. i have never found 1 contridiction and if you have then please let me know! what if i am wrong about my faith? well 100 yesrs from now i will be in my grave and i will have lived a happy life and believed in something that made me happy and lived for Him, my passion. but what if you are wrong? then 100 years from now you'll not be in Heaven and i will be. as i said it is up to you what you believe just letting you know that not all people of faith are ignorant. we have a reason for what we believe and we have a mind to choose and think for ourselves.

As here are so many religions on the Earth, so I think here is at least one god. It seems that many religions are trying to make people better, and also people have done many unbelievable things only because of their belief (e.g. look at those buildings, sculptures, statues...) I was almost crying (you know, men don't cry :-p ) when there were destroyed sculptures of Budha in Afghanistan (how could someone destroy 1500 years old thing :-/ ), I was almost crying by happiness when man from India was talking about their religion and I really love gypsy's version of Christian religion. When I die and I will find out that there is no god, I will force/make whole universe to create god for each religion, even the Poseidon. If there is only one god, I hope she/he/it will like me after my death although I would like to have the god for every religion, I just don't want to feel that after my death the game is over...

P.S. I have read all these answers (last one by jassi), and it is a pity that asker didn't put his opinion here... But my English is not so good to understand Myung Sung answer, ah I need better dictionary. :) I love you guys (girls and boys) for your sincerity, I am not able to choose my religion or to say directly I believe or I don't. Actually I am working on my own religion, it is called Physics, you know, when you do not understand something but you believe that, I think it is called religion, and there are so many things I do not understand in physics but I have to believe what my teachers said :-D

The next point is,To believe in a god is not enough,we must follow the right way . As it was never
sufficient to know that there is a coast if we are lost in the middle of an ocean , we must know
the directions and the right way to be saved,or our ship will sink.I don't agree you in the point
to bet people on who is right and who is wrong after 100 years, because if we return to the example above we are like an Armada ,everyone is a captain of his ship,we all want to reach the coast but everyone believes that he is the only one to know the right direction,and sure there is only one main direction. So, as people are diferent,some people try to find the way by their own , others try to help others ,and otherswho begin to kill each other to convince them ,and go on .In the end ,it's up to you to choose which kind of sailer would you be , and assume your full responsabily .
