I think not only the Chinese,but also all people from all of the coutries love their mother coutries. When it comes to the patriotism of Chinese people,in my opinion,Chinese love China all the time.The
patriotism exsit not just in these years.We just dont have a platform to express our patriotism before,but we have several ones now.The Olympic Games, the Earth Quake in Sichuan Province,and the snowstorm in southern China are the thing we do care about.We do what we can do to make a contribution.
I still remember that in 2001,Chinese male soccer team won the game in Shenyang after which the team could go to Korea to participate in the world cup. At that night,almost every citizen went out to celebrate the victory.The next day,all Chinese were talking about the future of our team,all of us are proud of the team,all of us are speaking highly of the coach and the team members.We express these things to express love to our mother country.However,things like the promotion to thr world cup dont happen often.We dont have many platforms to express patriotism until the year of 2008.
Becides,i do think the things happened in 2008 play a very important role.Especially the earth quake.Although it's a tragedy and it's really sad,it do have a positive influence on China. Partially because of the earth quake,we began to realize that we love our country so much.The tragedty also play a important role in improving the social harmony and solidarity. I myself didn't have a deep insight in to the concept of patriotism until recently.
Moreover, the sportmen do have a positive impact on us. Liuxiang is a case in point,he became a natinal idol after the year of 2004 in which he got a gold medal in 110 m hurdles.He always do something or say something to express his patriotism.We adore the stars like him.
