Wisdom teeth are your third molars & the last teeth to come up and they grow in each corner at the back of your mouth. They are called wisdom teeth as they can start growing from about 18 years of age, when you are supposed to be a lot wiser than when your first teeth erupted. Some people have to have their wisdom teeth extracted, because they grow crooked or only half way.
