What type of lessons did you enjoy the most in high school?

For example some students like to work in pairs, work on the computers, class discussions, have group work, quizzes, see films/plays related to their topics etc.

Please don't think of me as the geeky type but I loved best Chemistry. I just enjoyed writing chemical and structural formulas, balancing equating and solving related problems. I also liked the experiments and amazing chemical changes right before my eyes. Sometimes, some changes are just spectacular but caution should be observed. One thing I couldn't forget was dropping a chunk of sodium metal in a 1 liter flask of distilled water. The metal caught fire in no time. It was like special effects in the laboratory.

I got good grades as well.

I liked a lesson where I could express myself, tell others my thoughts and opinions. "Alive" lessons, where everybody could talk, move, discuss something (about currect topic of the lesson of course). Unfortunatly, i didn't have such a lesosn at high school, but I managed to do all of that on my German class. Lessons shouldn't be boring, that's the most important thing, I think.
