Do you think of German as a more complicated language than French, Italian, Dutch and Swedish ?

German has 3 genders, 4 cases, especially pervasive "inverted word order", and longer vocabularies than some other languages, as well as the capital letter which is necessary for the first letter of each noun.

I haven't learned the other four languages you've mentioned, but I don't regard German as an extremely complicated language. Though it has 3 genders, 4 cases, yet compared with other languages, German has the nearest relationship with English. I won't deny that German and English are two different languages, but learning German in comparison with English can make the task much easier, I think.
