Who should pay the bill when couples go out for dinner?

My friends told me that there were great difference between how couples (Not married ones) split their bills and dinners. (For married couples in China, the wife will be in charge of the money in most cases. So there is no need to discuss the split of the married couples here.)

Whom do you think should pay for the dinner? And why?
A. Guys should pay for it.
B. Girls should pay for it.
C. 50/50
D. It doesn't matter at all. :(

I say A and C because sometimes it happens that he didn t get payed or he has some financial problems and even he wishes to pay the bill you can be polite and just say you wish to split just because it makes you feel good and show you are on your feet and responsible and he can count on you , he doesn t need to carry the burden by himself. That is why you are a couple share problems and happiness!
