How do you say "Errand" in Korean?

I have a Korean roomate who is working on fixing his english skills. Unfortunately, I don't know any Korean and he was having trouble understanding what the word errand means, and what it means to "run and errand" for someone. I tried to explain it as best and as simple as I could in English, but he still didnt quite grasp the meaning like he wanted to. Can someone please help me? It would be great if your explaination was in Korean so that I could show him.

Not going to try to translate this at all, but you can use the NAVER ENG-KOR Dictionary. Use it all the time.
