italki Arabic Help
if the first letter of this word is the 6th letter in Arabic "ح" then it means "I greeted him" (masculine). this way of saying it is informal pronunciation.
if the first letter of this word is the 26th letter in Arabic "هـ" then it means "its here" which is used in the Lebanese dialect...
sorry for confusing you, but when you write "h" referring to an Arabic letter, sometimes it means one of those previous letters...

if the first letter of the word is the 6th letter in arabic "ح"
that would make the word
حياته
which means "his life"
and pronounced "hayatoh"
but if it is pronounced "hayeetoh"
it would be written
حيّته
with a "shadda" on the 2nd letter which means "i greeted him"
p.s. a shadda is written above the letter & is used to help in the pronounciation of the word. Whenever you see a shadda on top of a letter, it means u should stress on that letter when you pronounce the word
here is a link explaining some more about the shadda
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadda
good luck :)

If "hayeto" mean حــيــث in arabic , this word is a "Preposition" used to mark : the place.
We can translate حــيــث by: where (mark the place)
I live where you live أســكــن حـيـث تـسـكـنـيـن
حــيــث can take some translation according to the sentence, sometimes it used to mark the time.
