Have humanity learned anything from wars? What?

Is there hope or any possibility of solving problems among nations without wars? How?

Yes , they`ve learnt the importance of peace.

Personally I think war will be the last choice when there`re problems among nations to be solved, after all a lot of people believe in diplomacy, except dictators, of course. Peace is and will always be the first thing the world calls for.

In wars there are no winners, so seeems people learn about importance of peace, and then....why keep fighting? why keep being deaths? usually innocent ones? and the others that just follow instructions, why cannot be called innocents too? This time, I think I have more questions than an answer, but I definitely believe people has not learned anything from war or they could have stopped them! Maybe some learned how to do good businesses with the disgrace of others, or not?

Dictators and war mongers certainly haven't. Th average person does not want to go to war & become cannon fodder.
