Do you mean typing spanish characters, like "ñ"?
If so, from what I remember now you have two options:
-Change the layout of your keyboard in you Operative System (it depends if you are using Windows, Mac or Linux), but its usually quite easy.
-There combinations of keys to write foreign characters (it also depends on the OS), for example to type an ñ in Windows, it is ALT + 0241. Here is a link with more information:
