The Indian traditionally like to greet by saying ""Namastey / Namaskar"" with joining both the hands infront of chest towards people & also by asking ""Aap Kase Hai? (How are You?)"", and ""Aajkal kaisa chal raha hai? (How is life going on now-a-days?)"".

Hi friends, Namaste!!!
thats the way we greet in Hindi. There are many words but "namaste" and "namaskar" are the most common. They have the same meaning as "hello".

English is a very flexible language and adopts the words from local culture wherever it goes. Same is the situation in India. Also, it feels suitable to use some local words in conversation. Hinglish is a mix of Hindi and English. You use some words from Hindi in English or sometimes a whole sentence of Hindi between two sentences of English. That is a common practice.

Well Jasmina, in Indian cinema and TV, Hindi is the language. But some English may be used here and there. If you want to listen Hindi songs you can go to http://www.raaga.com . This is an online collection of Bollywood songs, for free.
