First of all, by taking your msn address off of your page so you can read your friends' mails without having to carve your way through a jungle of spam. Second, grabbing any material you can get your hands on, following Mike and Krasnyj's wise counsel, and I would add: by spending a lot of time chatting with people who are native speakers of Spanish. You will probably find some boring but will establish un buen vínculo de amistad with others. I have improved my Chinese quite a lot like this - I actually only have a couple of people who put up with my incessant questions, but they have meant a huge difference to me. And probably more importantly, I have made good friends and this is priceless!
