It's good exposure to another dialect of English and it's my personal favorite for English. It's no harder to learn once you realize the accent itself came from another language (Irish).

Ireland as part of the EU, has many migrants working everywhere throughout the land. It also grants Irish citizenship to babies born to parents of any nationality. The Irish accent however is hard to understand by people who are learning English. It was even hard for me when I was there last year!
