Em... I don't agree with Zack, Hackers can intrude to your system without knowing your name, age or even photos :p
But you should be really geek to hack the new systems, with improved security features.
I think that new people don't know how things turn here at first.
When I was new here I thought this website just to find language partners then add on MSN and talk with. But when I searched more, I discovered the groups , answers...
Sometimes people prefer to hide their age and other information to avoid bothering or just because they want to stay anonymous.
