Mira... por empezar, no creo que la ciencia tenga algo que ver con la religion, y no se si hay una "mejor" religion, lo que si creo es que no debiera haber competencia entre religiones, por el contrario, debieran servir para unir al mundo y no para dividirlo mas... ('-')

As most scientists agree with the 'Big Bang' theory of creation they would say NONE. Religion is man made, hocus pocus. Throughout history wars have been fought over religious beliefs. "My god is better than your god"...so you have to kill you.

From eating a wafer that is supposed to represent Jesus's body to banging your head on a wall which of these ridiculous rituals do you believe will get you closer to God? If you go to church all the time to practice your 'religion' but cheat people in your business or hit your kids how does it matter?

In the opinion of an atheist such as me, none: Derrick is right. I can't actually believe in some supernatural god to find answers because I prefer drowning among questions.
However, if you feel you have faith, if you believe in some eternal mind to watch over everything, I think you should consider that all religions are different ways to that God (even different gods might be just different aspects of an only one) and there isn't a best one; so you just choose the one that best deals with your own culture/living. But be REALLY faithful and religeous, not in the bad ways mentioned by Derrrick, which unfortunately are very common!

"As most scientists agree with the 'Big Bang' theory of creation they would say NONE."

Huh? Have I missed something or was the Bing Bang Theory "THE" Theory which would approve the existence of God. Seems like ur not up to date buddy...

Its funny that scientists meet to discuss about religion. Its like chimpanzees would be debating about "Parabolic partial differential equation" (high math). Science and Religion are two different dimensions. While Science explains "how" the universe exists and works, Religion explains "why" it does exist. In my oppinion we need both. Only Science would not explain why I exists, what the purpose of life is, what would happen with me after death... Only Religion would make me think in blind obedience...

It would be a simplification of the situation if we do take some disgusting examples of some extremist religious morons and say "thats religion". Its not! Most religions praise to live in peace and be good to our fellow men. Its the human who uses it for the bad. Its like a Knife u could use either to slice a piece of bread or stab on humans and kill 'em. It wouldn't make the Knife bad, but the Hand which used it...

it is amazing how the religion topic are discussed by scientists. probably, pious people from different religions would be more appropriate. just kidding. anyone is free to discuss any issue. the thing is i feel that there is a better religion. though, a better religion never boast nor advertise the religion. a better religion is humble but strong. the truth is always underlying. it is to be found through your own freewill. (because you want too.) all religion are supposed to have a good purpose, of course. though, peace, harmony and purity is what defines the better religion.

multani is right about the Big Bang theory, the Big Bang suggests us that the world should have a start point/moment where time starts ( so it seems to be logical that the world has a creator ) ! not all of scientists but most of them believe in the Big Bang theory because it is an unavoidable result of the general relativity equations in the point called "singularity" where the equations can't be solved in that point ( there are also some evidences, for example "the cosmological backgroud" ). we also have other good theories, the inflation theory is the most logical model that can answer our fundamental questions and has no problem with the Big Bang but the string theory and some other theories don't accept the big bang story of creating the universe ! these theories can be the key to removing the singularity in the equations of relativity.

I think multani is trying to say that religion is superior than science as he mentioned scientists to be like the "chimpanzees" talking about the high level of maths but perhaps he doesn't know that the parabolic partial differential subject is a creature of the scientists works ! so if chimpanzees can create a high level subject in maths they can also sit together and discuss about it ! lol

I agree with derrick, if oneday scientists sat together to discuss about religion most of them would say NONE !

Well, u think wrong about what multani tries to say (actually, it was quite clear what i said)... The comparision with chimpanzees and a high level math problem should point out how different those two are. I would say the same if a religious schoolars would sit down to discuss about Science. Religion is not the field of a Scientist, nor is Science the field of Schoolars.
...and i didn't say religion is superior to science. I even didn't make such a comparission. I belive (as i said), that we need both of 'em, and that each satisfies different needs of the human being.

Religion is a tool of the elite to repress the masses. The people who aren't "humble" and "poor" want everyone else to be.
