Don't get mad at me, my point of view is a common sense. Just as french women are famous for the ability to keep their body type after delievering children, russians inevitably become wide in their 30s.
Asians bad at driving, indians have funny accent, and italians have hand gestures. sigh, chill out.

I never refuse to admit the fact that my background is full of clichés. We are physically short, weak in muscle, and with big heads. China is a nation that has been fooled by Confucianism for thousand of years, and then raped by the red Stalinism imported from your "beautiful" Russians, who denied such a criminal system that once ruled your country for 70+ years in 1991. I know that China has done many stupid and irrational things which my little liberal brain is not able to understand. However, unlike you guys, who export your pile of shit to other countries, we take responsibility of our own pile of shit. We live with it and we die with it. Look at other eastern European countries lay between you and Germany, including the former East Germany, which still 'enjoys' an unemployment rate of 20%. Go ask people from Finland, Poland, and former Yugoslavia. I believe those descendents of Tito, along with Polish army officers you slaughtered under your occupation, will give you a clear answer. They would agree with me.

Ancient Russia had many wonderful inheritances, e.g. great music and literature. But look at the modern history, what good have you brought to the world? Ideology constraint? Group cleansing? Forcing your will upon other countries? Defeating Nazi is plausible, but replacing it with another inhuman system?

Ask yourself what you inherit from your parents, sort the Russia crisis of values out, and then let us discuss Chinese cliché.

Forgive generously. I had no intention to offend you. But I do not understand how my previous comment caused such a violent reaction from your side. I love my motherland, respect my country. I do not endorse much of what happened to us in the past. But I prefer to leave the story alone. Each country has deeds and events that do not want to remember. I believe here the wrong place for the exchange of cross-national claims.

As this stupid question from the host is not relating to language, I think this place can be used to exchange ideas beyond language learning.

In my opinion, choose to forget painful facts is incorrect and coward. However, it is embedded in human nature. We are well known for our short memory. Thus, I think a sarcastic refreshment of the truth from time to time is very helpful. It is my understanding that my posts here will provoke angry opposition. And I don't care. (Flag me if you wish.)

I remind myself of my weak muscle everyday and push myself very hard to improve. If I were a Russian girl, I would do cardio exercise everyday to keep fit in my 30s. LOL Being labeled as a cheap Chinese (we are number 2 cheapest people in the world), I donate with my Jewish colleagues in all the charity events organized by the company. On Remembrance Day, I feel sorry for and give my deepest sympathy to North Americans who lost their lives in the 1950's Korean War and strongly believe that China's involvement in that action is wrong.

I am very proud and happy that now I can openly face the facts about me, my background, and my culture as a liberated and free man. It is my own way to fight against the 'pile of shit' part of my past.

As a Chinese, to forget whatever China did wrong in history is sinful. Maybe you don't feel that way as a Russian when you face your history.

girls are different - ugly and beautiful, slim and fat - in all countries. There are a lot of slim women who are after 30, 40 and even 50 in Russi too. And of course tastes are differ.
I read about one country where men really love stout women and hate thin. Europeans tried to change their mind and hanged out posters where slim girl worked at home and fat women stayed near - she couldn't work because of weight. But locals residents understood it in their own way: they decided that slim women was poor, because she worked for fat one. Fat person was rich and happy and didn't need to work at all. lol

It has nothing to do with girls, it has something to do with country cliches if you read all posts carefully.

I don't think so. I have just suggested you an interesting fact about aborigines peoples. They are happy without statistics. We are not animals to discuss how "beautiful", "fat", "slim" we are. Stereotypes destroy our lifes. I prefer to communicate with intellectual and interesting peoples. No reason where they live and fat they or slim.
