Maria: My name is Alonso and I am from Colombia. here we have a lot of traditional meals. that depends on the regions you visit. For instance is you go to Medellin you will eat antioquian beans and the paisa dish. It has about ten different elements like: rice, meat, advocado, beans, banana, etc. It is enough for being well for a long time.

Hi Maria, perhaps the most famous and popular Czech meal is roast pork with stewed cabbage or sauerkraut and dumplings /in Czech they are called knedliki/. However, knedliki are not the same as dumplings, their preparation and taste differ. People drink excellent Czech beer with this meal. Regards, Zdena

Hj,I come from Vietnam .We have many delicious food here but think Banh Chung(square cake) is considered as Vietnam's traditional dish .
It most commonly found included with meals during Tet. Every Vietnamese family must have banh chung among their offerings to be placed on ancestors' altars.
Banh chung is made of glutinous rice, pork meat and green bean paste, and is wrapped in a square of bamboo leaves, giving the rice a green colour after boiling.Making the dish requires care and precision. To obtain the best cakes, the rice has to be soaked in water for an entire day. The pork meat must include skin and fat, the green beans must be of the same size and the bamboo leaves must be fresh. When finished, squaring off and tying the cakes with bamboo string requires skill full hands.
During Tet, Banh chung are served with "gio lua" and "hanh muoi" - lean pork pie and salted sour onions.
