Description
This class will help students in their academic writing. Each session will revolve around: your written work; my corrections (syntax, grammar, and word choice); and a discussion (regarding the corrections and why the change was necessary). Students will have a written assignment due for every session, based on topics such as everyday life, culture, art, and the like. Some in-class writing will be utilized, as well. The length of each assignment will differ depending on the proficiency of each student. In general, this means: Beginners - single paragraphs, at most two; Intermediates - a page of text, at most five; Advanced - short essays between five to seven pages, at most ten. The class is tailored to each student's individual needs, level, and interest!
