One-on-One tutoring: French

Learn in a "useful" way. A course is usually organised in 2 parts. First of all, I'll try to teach you new words to increase your vocabulary. I also try to slip in some light grammar with some exercices. The second part of the lesson is about getting confidence when speaking, and the best way to do so is to practice reading out loud with somebody to guide your prononciation. If you are a total beginner, I would start by teaching you how the letter sounds in French (alone and in group). Then, I usually teach some common sentences so you can get going right away. On lesson no 2, I teach numbers.and some more common sentences to learn by heart. Lessons after that are more flexible, if you have questions, or specific things you would like to learn. Sometimes I give homeworks, like writing a short text in french and I correct it during the following lesson. If you are contemplating taking lessons to help you pass some exams with better grades, this is probably not for you as the course is orientation towards things of the every day life rather than technical & heavy grammar.
