Can anyone recommend any useful Italian TV channels. We have a satelite dish that can pick up most channels, but we need recommendations. Are there any useful ones like kids TV channels that teach Italian kids! Or any channels that plays English TV shows that are dubbed in Italian like F.R.I.E.N.D.S or Sex and the City?

For kids, search Rai Yoyo and Rai Gulp. The rai website I believe is not available abroad, if you have satellite dish try to search those channels I wrote. In Italy we don't have any english channel. There was until some year ago bbc news
Hi Sarah, I think that Giulia meant Rai TV, is a Italian tv. You can find on satellite or in internet (http://www.rai.tv/ or more specific http://www.rai.tv/dl/RaiTV/dirette_tv.html).
The Rai have many channels, you can have many choices.
Other way, if you want subtitles, you can download tv series in italian and english. If you search you can find many series with dual audio and double subtitles.

We don't have subbed channels, but I suggest you seek throught RAI channels, there are a lot of interesting channels!
