Voice Recordings

Hi everyone!

Does anybody know of a website or application that would allow me to record myself giving short speeches in a foreign language and receive feedback from native speakers. I thought italki had a feature like this but I can only see an option to write notes and have them corrected.

Sometimes I have trouble coordinating a consistent schedule with language partners and I'd like a way to practice speaking without always relying on connecting via Skype with somebody. Any help or related ideas would be appreciated.

Gracias!

Kieran

Try https://clyp.it, at least I know that recordings last there for more than 6 months.

Sometimes we do it here in an informal fashion. Record a clip on vocaroo.com and post a link to it here on a Discussion thread. People can add their feedback and comments to your thread.

Maybe you could try the website:
www.govoluble.com
But only accept recordings made from a computer.

Choose the option WRITING PRACTICE, and after AUDIO, as it is shown in the following image:

You can try a website called Livemocha there's assignments where you are required to answer a question by recording yourself, and you'll receive feedback by native speakers, it is free.

Vocaroo.com is quite short, so that might not suit if you want to record more than a few minutes. Or why not post a link to a YouTube clip? People sometimes do that here too.
