Hey, I'm curious that what's westerners' traditional views on Chinese, Japanese and Koreans?

What do you think the differences of them?

China - still a little traditional. They like to have foreign friends.

Japan - its all about electronics. To my surprise japan is brighter at night than day time because of all those neons. Friendly people. Less traditional.

Korea - ultra modern. But they don't mingle much out of their own community.

The common thing is that all of these countries are turning into America.

It's just my personal observation.

Hi Shirleen. What is your Chinese name?

I have been to China and Korea. I do not have much experience with Japan. Working with Chinese girls, I have found them more emancipated in relations. That is to say, they take more initiative. I found Korean people to be more shy. And I found the Korean society and work culture to be more hierarchic.

I am from western Europe and here the whole labour culture is flatter. Also there is less difference in the traditional role women take and men take in both a working environment as in a social conversation. I found Chinese women to be more emancipated in this.

Also in both countries I found a big difference between the younger and older generation. The younger generations seems to be more westernized and less hierarchic.

I was in both countries for a few months do arrange some stuff on site.
