Why do you want to learn Filipino?

I find out that Tagalog language is very interesting and i really wanted to visit Catholic churches in Phillipines. That is why i wanted to learn Tagalog. 

I have no other special reason to learn your language..:D

I want to learn Tagalog because I am dating a Filipino and we are planning on getting married. I want to have a deeper understanding of your rich culture and I also want to be able to talk to our children in Tagalog! Thanks!

 I am a language enthusiast and once I found out that the Filipino culture is similar to mine (I am Haitian), I started to learn as much as I could about the Philippines. I fell so in love with it - I bought movies, books, joined a Filipino church, etc. I also have "yung kaibigang Tagalog"  and she speaks Ilocano not Tagalog so I'm learning Tagalog first then going to learn Ilocano and other languages.

I'm also thinking about getting my masters degree in the Philippines in a year or so.
