I apologise for how cheeky this sound, but for some reason in this country, persons of a certain ethnic group, the females, are always named either

Caitlin, Ashley, or Britney.

Then it gets worst: Kaitlin, Ashlee, Britnee, or some other bizarre derivative.

It was a like breathing fresh air when I met a girl named Sunshine.  The girl named Destiny, and that was her real name, not so much.

Too many damn Michael's. Too many damn Britney's.

I am from Jordan ,, the most popular names For girls probably Esra',  Braa' and Asma' .

for boys are Mohammed , Ahmed,Omer and Abd-allah

Here in Brazil, we have something like that:

male - José, Francisco (Chico), Antônio

female - Maria, Francisca.

This is the bases names, also, we have a lot derivative from this bases names, like Matteo said.
