I mean...you are here to learn new languages and make some new friends. But why are you all learning these languages?
That is so-called DOMINANCE. It is virtually ineveitable that there will be more and more minor languages that will go to extinction on condition that globalization is an overwhelming trend.
There will be only several major languages to be learned in the near future. That is not good for remaining some cultures but it is true that we can wait and see.
I just want to do something different from the past , change my mind.
Because mastering at least three languages is a requirement for landing a good job at a well-known company.
In fact I don't remember why I started learning English and Spanish, but I know why I'm doing it now. ;-)
English is useful in a daily life( when I can't find sth in my lanuage I often find it in English ;-)) and it's obligatory in the sector I want to work in.
I'm learning Spanish for satisfaction of understanding it. ;-)
