What are you favorite electronic dictionaries for Chinese Mandarin?

I use Plecodict on my cellphone.  http://www.pleco.com
I also use Wenlin on my laptop.  http://www.wenlin.com
I think both are totally amazing, and I don't know how I'd get through the day without either one.  Are there any others?  I haven't looked around in a long time.  Maybe there's something better now.  Any suggestions?

using both of them myself, I second that "totally amazing" part :)

for a WM based device, you should give MDict a try - not as user friendly as Pleco (which, at least for me, redefined the term "user-friendliness"), but there are some good dictionaries, that are worth checking out (especially the chinese-chinese ones and those specialized/technical ones). Also has an instant-access-like-function, which can be used for quick searches in various applications without the need to switch out of that application. A desktop version has also been released recently. The only problem is, that good dictionaries are sometimes hard to find - I spent a lot of time on various chinese bbs' searching for them...

I think you chose the two best ones.

StarDict is great also, but it requires a bit of setup.

I recommend www.dict.cn

Recently I've set up my own "chinese notes database" on my android phone because I find lots of chinese english dictionaries don't explain the chinese word's meaning fully. This database is all the chinese notes I've studied and taken in class over the last year organised by a database program that uses keyword searches.

Year's ago I purchased an eletronic dictionary call 中文通 in english its called mandarin king. Its model number is F109. That dictionary is not bad. I still use it once and a while. it's not only a dictonary but it has information in chinese culture/history/teas/opera etc. infact i wish I could emulate that dictionary on my phone it would be a great add-on to pleco.

為甚麼 不試試用

On Android, I use the Hanping Chinese app (which uses CC-CEDICT under the covers).

Online, I tend to favour nciku.com. I especially like the ability to draw characters and search for a match.
