Where would you tell people not to go on vacation?

Anywhere were there is a lot of violence, crime or a high rate of bad things happening to foreigners. For example, a lot of Americans were told last year not to travel to Mexico because there were drug wars and gang wars going on, and a lot of people were getting killed or kidnapped. Another place I've heard not to go is South Africa and other African countries were there is a lot of rebellion and political hostility. And for me, since I am a women, I would not want to go to countries where women could get in trouble with the law for not dressing appropriately, or where women are frequently mistreated.
