The Island of Komodo ...
Has anyone here been to the island of Komodo to see the world's longest and fiercest living reptile the "Komodo Dragon"? Is it confined to only one island or found in several islands? What do you call it in Bhasa Indonesia? ....

Thank you Maria, thanks for the information.
Ya, I saw these creatures on NGC channel. I heard that they can smell blood from nearly 2 and half miles away..... and they do it by using their forked tongue.
So, I presume, no human beings live in the island of Pulau Komodo. I wish someday I can travel there to see these mosters. I am very interested in wildlife and natural histroy.
Does Indonesia also have Uran Utangs and Gibons? I know they are found in Borneo.
Does Borneo fall under the adminstrative jurisdiction of Indonesia?
If I go to Indonesia (Jakarta, may be) then can I fly to Borneo... or do I need special permit for that?

About borneo, yea its still Indonesian teritory, that island have other name : Kalimantan Island
and no need make some permission if you want to come in Kalimantan if you already in Indonesia Terirory except several nature reserves, but not every nature reserves.
Have you ever been in Indonesia before?

No, I haven't yet been to Indinesia. I have been to Malayasia and Singapore though.
So, do you have any expereince of traveling to any of these tropical rainforests which Indonesia is so famous for? May be you prefer traveling to cities... not to the forests.
I would definitely love to visit Indonesia, Java, Sumatra and Borneo at least once. ^^
BTW, "Orang Utan" is what we had always learnt since school days, however ''Urang Utan" is a newly coined word for the same species of ape. Or... may be the difference between Brithish and American pronunciations etc. I don't know for sure. But this word is much in use and google can recognize it...... see the 'Urang Utans' below..
