Are anybody using speech recognition to improve pronunciation?

I have just found that window 7 have a speech recognition system. You could use it to dictate text to the computer. My pronunciation is very poor, so I am thinking to use speech recognition to improve.
There  are anyone that use a similar software for the some purpose? Are you found it usefull?
