Lovely movies with SAD ending...

What about City of Angels, also lovely movie with Sad ending
Into the wild also has sad ending but it's not a love story

I also like bollywood movies... Taare Zaamen Par, 3 idiots, great movies...they all made me cry.

Usually I don't like movies with sad endings but these are a few exceptions I could think of .

English: Titanic,

Hindi: Rang De Basanti, Kal ho Na Ho

Well I also like Bollywood movies like you two Princess and Gagan
and the movies you mention are my favorite but if we look bollywood movies most of them are sentimental and in hollywood very less are such movies thats why i mention here hollywood movies. The other movies that are too sentimental and my favorite are:

Hollywood: A walk to remember, Sweet November, Time Traveller's Wife, Hancock, Spider-Man 1, Matrix triology, Dark Night.

My favorite Animated movies: Shreik-1, Megamind, Tangled, Wall-E.

Bollywood: Anand, Ankhiyon ke jharokhon se, Hum Dil De chuke Sanam, Kal ho na ho,
Tere Naam, 3 idiots, Rockstar.

Ohh you mentioned a couple I haven't seen.... I will try to watch them some day. 

I just recently saw a movie I very much like, had seen it before, name is Big Fish. I cried with that movie although very frequently I cry with movies hahaha. But it's worth watch this movie. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0319061/ Try watching it, and I hope you'll like it.

oh yeah I just forget to mention it.
"If Only" is also a very good movie.

well Comedy movies are also good,

even then I prefer
Sad ending movies because they are very Heart Touching,
which not let us be just an audience only....
but also give us chance to connect ourself with those movie characters,
so that we can really feel those emotions inside us.

Also more importantly these movies appears to be more near to truth and reality of this practical World.
