1. Привет (PrivEt) - it is the most widespread form of a greeting. Usually we say so when we already know each other.
You SHOULDN’T say Привет, when:
a) you speak with unfamiliar person at the first meeting
b) with people who is much older then you or higher at status (it will show your disrespect for them)
