Which should be my choice: work or apply for masters abroad?

Hi, everyone. I am a girl who will graduate next year, whose major is certified public accountant. I spent all the time preparing for applying for masters abroad next year. I wanna immigrate to America by getting a permenant job there.

Recently, I just got official offers from Enrst & young and Deloitte, two of the Big Four. And during my internship at Deloitte, I learnt that many Chinese have a hard time getting a job in U.S. after finishing their master degree there. I am  in a dilemma now. I am not born with a silver spoon in my mouth. It costs too much for me to study abroad if I can't get a permenant job there. I can actually get a good job in China. the only problem working in China is that I don't like the lifestyle here (lots of working overtime ) and I have spent almost all my college years preparing for my studying abroad stuff. I hate to see that I am wasting my time and my life.

The appliction process will be on in September and those two companies also requires me to give them a clear answer about whether to stay or not by September. What should I do now..

I wanna hear the voice of you!

I think you have to follow your heart and do what is right for you. If you never try and take a risk to get what you want, you will never get it. I think in a couple of years, the job markets will be better once you graduate. How important is this choice of lifestyle to you? I also think that USA is going through a hard time now. I also think if you consider a country like Canada, it may be easier to get a well paying job as a minority.

I really think you should consider the job offers given to you. Getting a Masters without work experience is pretty useless. Many programs won't take you if you don't have 3 years of work experience in the field. Good luck!

Frankly, you will probably do well either way. If you have an oppotunity to work for one of the major gloabl accounting firms, I would do that. It doesn't hurt to get some experience. You can always apply for graduate school later; that choice is always available to you. Good luck.
