Ohayo gozaimasu

I really want to learn japanese, I mean only speaking, cause 3 alphabets is too much for my mind XDD

But I don't knew how to make it, I need to learn words first of all, but they mostly are written in kanji or at least in hiragana, it's so hard to find romaji. I read much about learning, and mostly everybody says that knowledge of kanji is very important. 

Please give me advice, is it possible to learn japanese using only hiragana & romaji? What words I need to remember first of all (like in all languages - cat\dog, boy\girl, my name is)?

And another problem is translator...I can't find romaji translator...So I even don't knew how to start :(((
