quotes

What is your favourite quoute (or quotes if there are more of them) I read different books and if I find some interesting thought I write it down :) what about you?

Here are some quotes:

'Scio me nihil scire' ( I know that I know nothing),  'Wisdom begins in wonder' -Socrates

'The oldest, shortest words - "yes" and "no" - are those which require the most thought.' -Pythagoras

'You can't step into the same river twice' -Heraclitus

'If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.' - Bruce Lee

'A wise man can learn more from a foolish question than a fool can learn from a wise answer' - Bruce Lee

in college, i learn socrates' quotes " i know that I know nothing."
from a chinese proverb- "those who do not read aare no better of those who can not."
jesse james- never look down on anybody unless you're helping him up.

Here are some of my favorites:

The road to success is always under construction.

Everyone will die but not everyone has lived.

Live your life like you will die tomorrow. Learn as if you will live forever.

Age begins when memories are stronger than hope.

When you reach the point when you are sure you want to spend the rest of

your life with someone, then you want that “rest” to begin as soon as possible!

@ Heinz, I like the qoute- Everyone will die but not everyone has lived.
I will use that as on of my motto. ;)

“You will always be fond of me. I represent to you all the sins you never had the courage to commit.”

“Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth.”

“Never love anyone who treats you like you're ordinary.”

Oscar Wilde

thanks :)

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
Mark Twain

"Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. But today is a gift, and that is why it's called the present". I am sure you know where I took this quote from ;)
