Who is your favourite author?

I'm a book lover rather than an author lover. I read the book and If I like it, I start searching more information about the author. Do I beat around the bush?

That's what most readers usually do. We start looking for information about the author after we read the book. Also, we become interested in the author's works once we find his / her productions interesting and worth reading. :)
