Please recomend some good Japanese anime

this may be an old anime... gungrave... i really love the story

One that I have REALLY loved recently is "Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai" It is a 2012 series and was just completed! Deep story, romance, fight scenes, similar to Haruhi Shizumia and Welcome to the NHK, if you're into seeminly ordinary Japanese people in extraordinary situations!

Detective Conan!(Meitantei Conan) One Piece! Inuyasha. Prince of Tennis.

I've aready watched detective connan and one piece and inuyasha and prince of tennis (because they are all well known haha) I'll watch the other two suggested by plunder and alvin, thanks again!! Well, my favourites right now are: Naruto, Digimon: Data Squad, Say I love you, Amnesia, Vivid Red Operation, Space Battleship Yamato (that's an old one!)

also others that I can't remember right now lol.

If u like manga then Tail Of The Moon has to be my all time fave at the moment, also S.P.Y. was ok.

I'll try to help.So,here's a list of my favourites,categorized by genre.

Action: Bleach,Naruto,SHAMAN KING (oh,you gotta watch this,it's amazing!),Zetman,Btooom! (video games,action,fight, cool stuff),Code:Breaker,Soul Eater,D-Gray Man;Full Metal Alchemist (comedy,drama,family relationships,mystery,fantasy; one of the best anime series ever).

Romance: Nana (one of my favourites; there are music themes as well),Paradise Kiss,Bokura ga ita,Ouran Highschool Host club,Rurouni Kenshin (samurai,action,drama as well),Sailor Moon (classic! Amazing anime! action&fantasy included),Zero no Tsukaima,Toradora,Inu x Boku SS...

Music anime: Nana,BECK,The legend of Black Heaven,Detroit metal city,K-ON;
Drama/Horror/gothic:  Death note,Kuroshitsuji,Hellsing,Mononoke,Hakaba no Kitaro;

Comedy: Durarara,Level E,Honey and Clover,One Piece,Beelzebub,Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan (hilarious!)

Wow, you mentioned everything that I watched that has romance as its theme :) Sailormoon is also my all time favorite. I also recommend Ranma 1/2 ,Inuyasha ,Fushigi Yuugi  and Fairy Tail if you're into comedy/romance/action themes. 

I think Code Geass is really good, and I highly recommend it.

Also, you can try Fairy Tail, if you're into action/comedy.

For some romantic stuff, try Kamisama Hajimemashita, it's a very subtle and simple story. Fruits Basket and Kaichou wa Maid-sama are also worth trying out.

I've tried to watch Bleach before but it's not that great compared to the manga.

Of course there's also the very classic and well-received Rurouni Kenshin. :)
