Different ways of translating sleep
Can someone explain the difference between "dormir", "endormir", and "se coucher"?

"Dormir" means that you are actually sleeping, you're already asleep. "Endormir" is when you fall asleep, and "se coucher", you go to bed, but you are not automatically sleeping.
