Meaning of word
Hello everyone,
could you explain meaning of word "pudelwohl"?
I've read it in the twitter of FCB, and full sentence is: "Ich fühle mich pudelwohl beim FCB". So, I think, what it's mean: "I feel yourself comfortable at FCB" or "I feel fit as a fiddle at FCB".
Both versions are similar, but I'd like to know exact meaning.

Wie ihr euch vielleicht schon gedacht habt, hat diese Redewendung mit dem bekannten Pudel zu tun, einem Hund mit lustiger Haarschur. Doch auch der Pudel hat seinen Namen nur geerbt: Der Pudelhund liebt das Wasser und wurde früher besonders in der Wasserjagd eingesetzt. Er hat seinen Namen vom "pudeln", was umgangssprachlich so viel bedeutet wie "im Wasser plantschen". Wenn sich Jana also pudelwohl fühlt, dann fühlt sie sich genauso wohl wie ein Pudel beim Wasserplantschen."
