Do you think arranged marriages are a good idea?

i think it is, it keeps the family together while growing it at the same time. not to mention that starting a relationship this way will help the young couple avoid making mistakes or doing shamwfull things such as underage pregnancy/sex, and it helps protect their emotions so they dont end up getting hurt by the other in the relation and they know that their family approves of their partner.

but then again it takes the fun and teenage memories away..

Arranged marriages teach tolerance. If two different people marry each other, they must learn to love each other. We must see the good in everything. My family has a lot of arranged marriages in it...

Right, an arranged marriage disciplines oneself.

As for me, usually any kind of marriage is a bad idea. I know very few good couples, much more bad ones. As a rule the marriage takes more than it gives. So anyway it is a kind of a lottery with poor chances to win. Unless you know exactly what you want and how to get it.

I think it is a bad idea, because it has no sense be married with someone that you don't know or love. Then I think that marriahe should be when a couple is in love and decides to be together for the rest of life.
