The best Valentine's Day gifts are ones that a person puts some thought and emotion into. Anyone can by flowers or candy, which is nice, of course, but doesn't necessarily require much effort, just money. A friend of mine forgot Valentine's Day. His wife wouldn't have been mad, it wasn't that big a deal for her, but he still wanted to do something. He had a little drawing talent and drew a bouquet of flowers, taking great care with the detail. His wife was thrilled and kept the picture. She said it meant much more than the actual flowers would have.
