Would you be interested in talking to a 12 y.o. Russian girl?
Hello! My name is Irina, and I'm an English private tutor in Russia. I have a student, she's 12 and her name is Eve. This account was created for her.
I'm looking for native speakers to organize conversations with her. You don't have to spend long time with us, but only 5-10 minutes, just to make her feel more comfortable speaking English. I want to let her see that there's somebody who doesn't understand any Russian, so the only way to communicate with them is to study English.
You don't have to teach English, but just to introduce yourself, or tell her about the contries you've been to, your room, your hobbies, things like that. Wouldn't it be fun to find something about a 12y.o. Russian girl's life?
If you come from the UK, it would be so great if we could manage it, as Eve is studying British English at school.
If you are from the USA, we'd like to talk to you to find out how a new accent can sound like.
If you have children of the same age, whose native language is English, we can organize a conversation between them and Eve.
Eve can't teach you Russian, but if you would like to receive a Russian lesson for exchange, I'd be happy to help you with it. By the way, I'm a future Russian as a foreign language teacher and a community tutor on italki. This is my account on italki: http://www.italki.com/user/1167990
Sorry if I made some mistakes, please correct them if you find some.
