Shiritori Game [English Variant]

Based on the success of the Shiritori games here I thought I'd make my own slightly more challenging one. Please continue to use the others too.

Take it in turn to add an English word using letters from the end of the previous word.

The rules are:

You can't use all of the letters ("impolite" cannot become "impoliteness")
You must add at least one new letter ("impolite" cannot become "polite")

So you must remove letters from the start and add to the end ("impolite" can become "politeness".

Try to keep at least two of the letters from the previous word (the more the better!). If it's too challenging, I suggest using the other Shiritori games on here.

If it seems like no-one can continue using at least two of the end letters, someone may just use the final letter.

Example:
Game - messy - symbol - bold - ...

If multiple people reply to the same word, continue from the last one. Try to refresh the page before posting to reduce this happening.
