This evening I like the lyrics of the song "Black Socks"

Black socks, they never get dirty,
The longer you wear them the stronger they get!
Sometimes I think I should wash them
But something keeps telling me
No, no, not yet!

Elegy on . . . (a Polish boy) - K.K. Baczyński

They kept you, little son, from dreams like trembling butterflies,

 they wove you, little son, in dark red blood two mournful eyes,

 they painted landscapes with the yellow stitch of conflagrations,

 they decorated all with hangmen’s trees the flowing oceans.

They taught you, little son, to know by heart your land of birth

 as you were carving out with tears of iron its many paths.

They reared you in the darkness and fed you on terror’s bread;

 you traveled gropingly that shamefulest of human roads.

And then you left, my lovely son, with your black gun at midnight,

 and felt the evil prickling in the sound of each new minute.

 Before you fell, over the land you raised your hand in blessing.

 Was it a bullet killed you, son, or was it your heart bursting?

If

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for their doubting too,
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream--and not make dreams your master,
If you can think--and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it all on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings --nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much,
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And --which is more-- you'll be a Man, my son!

EVERYTHING IS HIDDEN IN YOU

You’re heavy by the gravity
But light as you wing…
You’re alive as your heart beats
And young as your eyes can see the distant…
You’re good as much as you love

But bad as much as you hate…
No matter what colour eyes and eyebrows you have,
Your colour is just as she senses…
Don’t take your past as a fat profit,
You’re near to your last as much as you’ve lived.
No matter how long you live,
Your life is as long as you love…

You’re happy as much as you can laugh.
Don’t worry and know that you’ll laugh as much as you’ve cried.
Never think that everything’s over,
You’ll be loved as much as you love.
The nature values you by the sunrise
And you’re human as much as you value her.
If you’ll deceive someday,
Let her believe you as much as she depends on you.
As the moonlight keeps the longing for your lover,
You’re close to her as much as you long for her.
Don’t forget that you’re wet as much as it rains
And hot as much as the sun heats you.
You’re alone as much as you feel alone
And strong as much as you feel strong.
You’re beautiful as much as you feel beautiful…

Here is the life!
Here is the living!
You live as long as you remember this
And you feel cold with every breath you take,
You are forgotten as fast as you forget her.
A flower is beautiful as long as it’s watered
Birds are cute as long as they can sing
And a baby is a baby as long as it cries.
And you know as much as you learn; so learn that, too:
You are loved as much as you love.
