Is it correct?

- Its coat varies from grey or brown to black during winter, and reddish or brown to sandy during summer.
- The antlers of a roe deer are much less complicated than those of the bigger Red Deer.
- They have a trivial tail as well as a whitish patch on the rump.

We don't call a tail that is small 'trivial.' If it's small them small might be the word. If it's not really there at all then 'vestigial' could apply... though many people might not be too familiar with this word. I think, if I remember, they have a stump of a tail. Isn't that right? A short stumpy tail.
